When you use our services, you have the flexibility to pay using a variety of options. We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash. Please note, if you have booked in advance and choose to pay by cash, your chosen Operator may request full payment or deposit in advance as sometimes they have to send a driver from far distance and want to make sure that booking is genuine.

In all cases your payment is guaranteed by altCABS in case the driver is late or does not turn up as per standard Terms and Conditions, please refer to the payment section.

At altCABS canceling your booking is quick and easy to do. If you have a registered account with us, you can cancel it within your altCABS account or by chat, phone call, or email to altCABS, not with the Operator.

For a full refund, you must cancel within your cancellation cut-off period, as indicated in the Terms & Conditions. As per our terms and conditions, any cancellation received after the cancellation cut-off time, will not be entitled to any refund.

As long as you give us 24 hours' notice before the scheduled pickup time, we will refund your journey in full, less card payment processing fees or 10% whichever is more. Pre-paid bookings will be refunded in a maximum of 15 working days from the moment of cancellation.

Once the journey has commenced (driver on the way or driver is arrived), no refund is available

Our cabs can be booked as little as 30 minutes to any time in the future before your desired pick-up time. If it's a last-minute booking, please call us on our published phone number so that we can find you a suitable driver.

One of the other benefits of altCABS services is the flight monitoring we provide. This means that we know when your flight will arrive and arrange the pick-up accordingly.

You can book a child seat during the booking process, by choosing the addon. By Law, children (Under 3 years old) are allowed to travel in the back seats of taxis/minicabs without a child seat or seat belt. In the case that a child is over 3 years of age, they can travel without a child's car seat provided they wear a seat belt.

If you require a child seat, inform your Cab provider once your booking is made. Please note that child seats are subject to availability and are not included in the price of the trip and will be charged as per rates on our website.

If you require a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, we have you covered. Our operators nationwide have Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles available for your transportation needs. To ensure that the correct size and type of vehicle is dispatched to you, select the option for a wheelchair when you request a quote on the altCABS website. It's also recommended to book your ride as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. You can put a wheelchair requirement note in the booking form for your operator to know.

After you have made your booking, we suggest you contact the Cab Provider to confirm whether or not they are willing to accept pets or you can add that info in the comment section of the booking form. You can find the Operator’s contact details on the confirmation email that we sent you. It's important to note that Cab Providers are private businesses and have the autonomy to set their policies regarding whether or not drivers will accept passengers with pets or charge some money.
